Lime opens cut against coconut milk, a pairing that reads more like a cocktail garnish than a standard citrus top, with bergamot and mandarin widening the accord and keeping it juicy rather than sharp.

Sugar cane pushes through within twenty minutes, and this is where it leaves the generic aquatic template behind, leaning sweet and slightly boozy instead of clean and salty. Jasmine and gardenia soften the citrus with white-floral warmth, while hibiscus adds a faint tart edge that keeps the heart from cloying. Rum rises to meet the sweetness early, so the drift from beach fruit toward dessert-adjacent warmth starts well before the drydown.

Musk and tonka bean take the final stretch, and the tonka's vanillic, almost caramelized quality is the strongest signature left on skin.
